For the first time in over 30 years there was a "Snow Day" in Vegas. This is a picture of the house across the street. Our snow was all messed up from the dogs. There was actually twice as much snow but it had already melted by 7:30 a.m. Henderson which is the same school district actually got 8 inches which is why I think they closed the schools. I kept telling everyone that who ever called a snow day obviously never lived anywhere but Vegas during the winter. They kept reminding me that Vegas has absolutely nothing for snow removal including sand. Oh well, the snow was a nice change. Besides,where else can you wear a sweat shirt and be warm in the middle of a snow storm?
