Can you believe that Jospeh Smith was actually on a list of famous people from the Wild West? I couldn't. Ashlee had to do a report and a poster board on him without bringing too much religion into it. She did awesome. I was afraid it might come across as a Sunday school lesson but my worry was pointless. She stated facts about his life and the way he felt and why he made some of the decisions he made. She also talked about his persucution and what he and his family endured. Her conclusion had to include her opinion of the person. The only religion she brought into it was that he prayed to know which church was true and that he translated the Book of Mormon. She also needed a three deminsional prop on the poster board so we attached a small Book of Mormon. This was her best report project yet. She got an A+.
